“Experiencing Freedom through Genuine Connection”

We all have deep relational needs. My voyage to understanding mine was profound and painful. As a young man, I sought to impress others by doing good. As a youth pastor aiming for full-time ministry, I believed that preserving my image through the "right actions" would lead to acceptance. This led to "Saint Mike," a persona driven by a need for praise and admiration, while my true desires were buried deep inside.

This facade left me isolated and addicted to an unattainable image. I was disillusioned with life and disintegrated as a man. During these dark years, I lost a marriage, my purpose, and ultimately, my identity.

In my desperation, I found a spiritual reawakening. God worked through loving people who taught me the value of community and genuine relationships. A group of men accepted me for who I was, not who I pretended to be. These life-giving relationships freed me from a self-righteous isolation, allowing me to embrace a life of freedom, truth, and purpose. I finally experienced true love—the love of self-acceptance, guilt-free service, and fearless vulnerability. "Saint Mike" died, and the real Mike emerged.

My mission now is to help others achieve purpose-driven freedom and experience authentic relationships as I myself discovered. As a coach, I witness the transformational power of group work and community living, and I advocate passionately for its benefits.
